1. Production& Quality department (poultry production farms & hatchery)
- Manage technical performance of Parent Stock at the farms.
- Manage data collection poultry flocks and analyze results- Manage farm and hatchery administration (data registration, document flow, inventory control, purchase procedures and budget management)
- Manage required livestock licenses and documents, keep close relationships with related government departments- Manage poultry site and hatchery assets i.e. high biosecurity management, maintenance buildings, materials and equipment, hatching eggs, DOCs, DOLs, strong focus on incubators and HVAC maintenance
- Manage, develop, train and motivate dynamic teams in the farms and the hatchery- Manage obtaining Quality Certifications (such as Global Gap) and effective implementation
2. Human Resources department
- Make up and implement HR planning together with HR manager for the production departments
- Recruit and contract production staff- Take initiatives to safeguard company culture and values in production departments.
3. Project department
- Make up and follow up project timelines
- Monitor and control project budget- Prepare price and contract term negotiations for all CAPEX
- Set realistic deadlines and cross check time planning- Ensure investments meet production and quality requirements
4. Technical sale department.
- Provide support solution for clients through collect data, analyze and report about quantity, quality of each DOCs delivery to client farms, support, instruct technical for our customers during their brooding periods (First 7 days) and overall farm management.
- Report infectious disease outbreaks of client farms to the Managing Director and De Heus sales team to minimize contamination of other flocks and support the clients in prevention/ treatment of the pathogen.
- Regularly perform market visits to meet clients: quality feedback, technical performances reports, collect market information, responsible for consolidating a relationship with customers.

- Degree in agriculture/animal health/animal husbandry/ veterinarian sciences/ livestock, some years of experience in a poultry livestock management position is an advantage.
- A second university degree in economics (i.e. MBA) is an advantage, or willing to obtain the degree
- Proficient knowledge in poultry livestock management, prepared to learn the craft of incubating and hatching’ in practice- Willing to invest time and energy in training programs to upgrade technical poultry management knowledge
- Affinity with and passion for the poultry livestock industry or affinity with agribusiness- Have proficient leadership, coaching and training skills
- Have good communication and know how to motivate people
- Have proven organizational and management skills in agricultural processes
- Be able to delegate responsibilities while ensuring detailed management, have a hands-on mentality - Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work in a fast - paced setting.
- Be resourceful, inventive, problem-solving, result-oriented and entrepreneurial- Understand cultural differences between Europe and Asia and anticipate during stakeholder’s meetings to bridge this gap
- Be able to develop Standard Operating Procedures
- You are prepared to work fully on this project for at least 3 years and are willing to settle in South-East Asia during this period.
