Job Description: | ||||||||||||
- Manages the supply chain functions for multiple locations. - Responsibilities of the supply chain, leading teams to develop and implement changes, and assisting with overall divisional activities. - Manages or provides high level coordination of supply chain functions which includes a few of the following areas within an established supply chain such as: demand planning, scheduling, inventory management, distribution, and shipping and receiving and also may include customer service, purchasing, and materials management. - Coordinates operations across the plants, which includes the selection of vendors and materials, determining demand-planning approaches, establishing schedules and inventory management levels, and examining distribution channels. - Leads teams to develop and implement supply chain operations, examine existing processes, and monitor on-going or updated operations. - Develops appropriate policies and procedures to ensure compliance with supply chain management principles and practices and applicable laws, rules, and regulations; monitors compliance with these areas. - Responds to questions and concerns from management regarding supply chain operations and results, performs research, and provides recommendations or opinions. - Assists with implementing supply chain strategies and measurements for the division and presenting results to management. - Performs other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: - Experience in logistics, demand planning, scheduling experience - Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management/ Business Administration or equivalent education. - Supervising and evaluating employees. - Applying fundamental supply chain management principles and practices. - Analyzing and reviewing manufacturing and operational reports. - Developing and operating a supply chain. |
